Dennis Chan is a community chaplain based at St Clements Anglican Church in Lalor Park, and currently works three days a week.
He says: ‘’What excites me about my role as a chaplain is that I am engaging in the same kind of ministry that our Lord Jesus did in moving towards those who have been marginalised, and seeking to meet their physical, mental, emotional, but most importantly, their spiritual needs through the message of the hope of the gospel.
Dennis is married to Jenny, and they have 3 young children.
Dennis was previously a pastor of a church in Rockdale for four years, before commencing his role as chaplain in early 2023.
Dennis is a part of the Anglicare Sydney – Community & Mission team.
